Athene Agility 10 Review: Final Thoughts
I'll end my Athene Agility 10 review with some final thoughts. Agility 10 is not a large annuity if your goal is safe accumulation. The threshold and participation fees are lower than other Athene membership products.
Also, the Athene Agility 10 has a 10 year contract term and I suggest staying in the 5-7 year range for accrual.
This is a great option if you are under age 60 and plan to use this annuity as part of your retirement income plan.
In short: I would not recommend the Athene Agility 10 if you are looking for an annuity to safely and consistently grow your money. If you plan to turn this part of your portfolio into a lifetime income stream, Agility 10 is possibly the best option available (Allianz 222also receives consideration).
